Thesis (B.S)-- Cagayan State University, 2025.

The researchers proposed a three-storey building at Cagayan State University Lal- lo Campus to cater to the need for additional academic, industrial, and administrative spaces. It was intended to create a full set of architectural, structural, electrical, plumbing, and sanitary plans; to create a functional, sustainable layout that includes hydraulic lifters, loading bays and fire suppression systems; to determine the building's occupancy value; and to incorporate important sustainable elements like photovoltaic panels, a rainwater harvesting system and the incorporation of thermoblocks. The building is planned to host different functions, with the ground floor being reserved for workshops, the second floor for administrative and faculty offices, and the third floor for classrooms and academic purposes. The building's responsiveness to user needs was ensured through actual site visits and interviews with faculty members and the campus CEO. Engineering software such as AutoCAD, STAAD.pro, RCDC, SketchUp, Microsoft Excel, were utilized during planning, analysis, and documentation. The design is consistent with regulatory standards, specifically the National Building Code of the Philippines, National Structural Code of the Philippines (NSCP 2015), Fire Code of the Philippines, Revised National Plumbing Code of the Philippines, and the Philippine Green Building Code. The output has a complete set of construction ready. Further research is recommended for enhanced water harvesting and fire sprinkler systems for improving the structure's overall performance and long-term sustainability.
