This study was conducted to look into the design and acceptability of saccharum spontaneum(talahib) multi-purpose folding divider. The purpose of this study is to divide spaces in homes and offices, yet it offers a unique background design for simple interiors. This also help online sellers and shops in their business, especially
when they do live sell and photography of their products. The intended readers of the study are those possible beneficiaries such as entrepreneurs, farmers, consumers, teachers, students, and future researchers. The study sought to find the information that test the acceptability of talahib. The dominant explanation for the gathered data, used a survey research design that fulfills the aim of this study to survey respondents in terms of design, functionality, and durability of multi-purpose folding divider. The data were obtained from different material sources such as books, magazines and from different websites. Structured surveys were conducted with 50 respondents, wherein talahib can be used as effective to design a new multi-purpose folding divider using saccharum spontaneum (talahib) which is more eco-friendly product that the existing folding divider. The findings of the study indicate that the product is effective to design a new multi-purpose folding divider, also it shows how these products are acceptable to the respondents as they respond. When it comes to the design of the talahib multi-purpose folding divider, majority of the respondents strongly agreed and has an overall mean of 4.57. With regards of the functionality of the product, majority of the respondents strongly agreed and has an overall mean of 4.63 while the durability of the
product shows how the respondents strongly agreed and has an overall mean of 4.46. Therefore, to sum the surveyed product, the use of talahib as raw materials is effective in developing and designing multi-purpose folding divider. Hence, mass production can be possible. The overall mean in which the respondents strongly agreed with the durability of the new designed and developed folding divider and it has a overall mean of 4.553 which is Strongly Agree of Accebtability of Talahib Multi- purpose Folding Divider in terms of design, texture and durability.
