Dorothy, a young orphan girl, lives a quiet life on a Kansas farm with her Aunt Em, Uncle Henry, and her little dog, Toto. One day, a powerful cyclone sweeps through the prairie, lifting their house into the sky. When Dorothy awakens, she finds herself in the magical Land of Oz, where her house has accidentally landed on and killed the Wicked Witch of the East.
Grateful for her unintentional deed, the Munchkins and the Good Witch of the North give Dorothy the dead witch’s silver shoes and advise her to seek help from the Wizard of Oz in the Emerald City. To find him, she must follow the Yellow Brick Road.
