This project proposes a innovative design for a 4-storey library that incorporates the principles of biophilic design. The objective is to create a sustainable and harmonious space for learning, interaction, and connection with nature. The library is conceptualized and developed with a guiding framework called biophilic design. This design is based on the natural human desire to connect with nature. It also integrates the indoor environment with the surrounding landscape by combining abundant natural elements such as extensive greenery, natural light, water features, and organic materials. The proposed library will be carefully crafted to provide distinct experiences that promote a feeling of wellness and connection to the environment. The proposed library is thoroughly planned to create a feeling of calmness and renewal, with features such as indoor gardens, waterfalls, and expansive views of the outdoors.

Furthermore, the library is designed to serve as a flexible and interactive center for education and cooperation, in addition to its biophilic characteristics. The design incorporates innovative facilities, adaptable learning spaces, and interactive technology to cater to a wide range of educational requirements and foster continuous learning. In addition, the library is planned inculcating sustainability with an energy- efficient systems, passive design strategies, and environmentally friendly building materials to help reduce the impacts of environmental issues and improve its operational efficiency.

This proposed biophilic 4-storey library combines biophilic design principles, innovative architecture, and sustainable practices to redefine the connection between built environments and nature. It aims to foster a culture of learning, creativity, and well-being, representing a transformative approach to library design.
