A multi-purpose drawing tool is a versatile instrument that combines several functions into one device, offering convenience and efficiency for artists, designers, and drafters. These tools are designed to perform various tasks such as measuring, drawing straight lines, creating angles, and more. In the realm of art and design, the quest for tools that seamlessly blend functionality, versatility, and convenience is ongoing. This research explores the development and implications of a novel multi-purpose drawing tool designed to enhance the creative process and streamline workflow for artists, designers, and drafters. Combining the functionalities of a ruler, protractor, straight edge, and geometric shape template into a single compact device. By examining the functionalities, design evolution, and user experiences associated with multi-purpose drawing instruments this study attempts to clarify their function as essential tools for designers, artists, architects, and engineers. Multi-purpose drawing tools are found to facilitate greater precision in measurements, angles, and straight-line drawing compared to standalone tools. The ability to perform multiple tasks with a single instrument streamlines workflows and reduces the need to switch
between different tools. The integration of advanced materials and manufacturing techniques further enhances the durability and precision of the tool, providing users with a reliable instrument for their creative endeavors. Drawing upon insights from industry professionals, this research also investigates emerging trends and innovations in multi-purpose drawing tool design, including smart functionalities, customizable features, and sustainable materials. By anticipating future needs and preferences of users, designers, and manufacturers, the study offers valuable insights into the continued evolution of drawing tools and their pivotal role in shaping the future of creative practice.
