Solar energy, which is taken from the sun in the form of radiation, is also an infinite energy source that is increasingly essential in the long run for producing light. However, the selection of a feasible type of system is very crucial to maximizing the full potential for solar streetlight. This paper presents the design and development of a dual solar tracking system for streetlights. The study also shows the performance analysis between a dual- tracking system and the existing static system for solar streetlights. The solar panel's elevation and orientation angles are controlled by the automatic tracking system, so it will always remain perpendicular to the sun's rays. The experiment was conducted to get the comparison of the two different systems in terms of voltage, current, and power output of the panel per hour. The accumulated data results that the dual-tracking systems generated 34.704 Watts power output on and 38.844 Watts for static during sunny days. However, the fixed system generates 12.794 Watts and 11.132 Watts in dual tracking. Thus, the fixed
system still performed better on cloudy days.
