Curriculum Vitae

Easels have been used by artists for centuries. It is believed that easels were already used by the ancient Egyptians, and in the 1st century Roman scholar Pliny the Elder mentioned a "large panel" that was placed upon an easel. Easels come in various types, and in a future blogpost we will discuss the differences between them. But what they all have in common, is that they are a structure onto which
you can place your canvas or paper.
This paper presents the Development of Portable French Style Wooden Easel with built-in drawer for Architectural Drafting Students of Cagayan State University, Carig Campus based on the data were collated from 20 respondents of 1 and 2nd year major in architectural drafting students to test in terms of quality, effectiveness, and the capability of being used outdoor or indoor.
The standard of this product is 23" x 11.5" x 6.5"' and the max surface size must be 34". But there's no "right height" just whatever fits you and your posture the best because, it is adjustable and convertible for some ways. You can use it on drawing table or Floor Stand.
It concludes, that painting on an easel, whether it's a table easel or a frame easel, is not only a good for improving the quality of your art, but having an easel at home, means you have a new place to store or display you latest artwork.
