In today's fast-paced world, time management has become a critical factor in achieving success in various professional domains. The construction industry, known for its complex and time-sensitive projects, is no exception. Efficient time management strategies play a crucial role in ensuring the timely completion of construction projects, meeting deadlines, and optimizing work performance. This thesis study aimed to identify the relationship of time management strategies and construction work performance in terms of standard specification, contract duration, contract cost. This study also aimed to rank time management strategies in terms of its effectiveness with construction work performance. The results of this study can also be valuable insights into how effective time management practices can enhance productivity, mitigate delays, and improve overall project outcomes. To accomplish these objectives, the researchers conducted and distributed survey questionnaires to 40 different Project Managers and Project Engineers who were selected from different construction projects in Tuguegarao City, Cagayan. The results of the study were tallied and analyzed through SPSS and Microsoft Excel. The study showed that there was no significant relationship between time management strategies and construction work performance in terms of standard specification, contract duration, contract cost. Despite employing various time management techniques, such as scheduling, prioritization, and delegation, construction professionals reported no clear improvement in their work performance metrics. On the other hand, the researchers were able to rank time management strategies in terms of its effectiveness with construction work performance. Considering the rankings of time management strategies, implementing effective strategies such as Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and Precedence Diagram Method (PDM) could potentially enhance overall construction work performance. These strategies help in organizing and sequencing tasks, ensuring clear communication, and optimizing resource allocation. By focusing on these strategies. manage contract duration and cost. construction projects may enhance their efficiency, meet project specifications, and better manage contract duration and cost.
