Summary, etc The accessibility report of buildings is crucial in maintaining the overall safety of the people, especially for those persons with disabilities. This study assesses the accessibility requirements of the buildings of Cagayan State University- Carig Campus in line with the Accessibility Law (Batas Pambansa Blg. 344). Employing the Microsoft Excel software, the research analyzes various data from different architectural features of the different buildings of the campus, the data are taken from the on-site inspection conducted by the researchers. The researchers used a simple average formula and simple percentage formula in analyzing the data. The findings indicate that the overall compliance of the existing and finished buildings in terms of corridors, doors, entrances, ramps, restrooms, stairs, and switches is rated at 45% with a descriptive rating of partially compliant. Furthermore, the findings of this study highlighted significant disparities in the level of compliance of different architectural features and buildings across CSU- Carig Campus with the Accessibility Law. While some features and buildings demonstrated moderately compliant, many others fell short of meeting the required standards. The provision of accessibility assessment report and recommendations for improving accessibility on CSU- Carig Campus contains the accessibility features and its standards that are observed to have not met. Through the conduct of on-site inspection, standards that are not met are identified and recorded, to which recommendations are established accordingly. Additionally, architectural redesign plans were proposed for non-compliant, partially compliant, and moderately compliant features, including corridors, doors, entrances, ramps, restrooms, stairs, and switches. These redesigns aimed to meet the standards outlined in the Accessibility Law by addressing specific problems such as poorly designed ramps, inaccessible restrooms, poorly designed entrances, and the lack of architectural features that are deemed necessary for an accessible institution. Implementing these plans would not only improve compliance rates but also create a more inclusive environment that ensures equal access for all.
