Adaptation of Lean Construction Management (LCM) and Its Impact on Sustainable Construction in Tuguegarao City. The construction industry is currently facing the challenge of integrating sustainability into its fundamentals and essentials including Environmental Sustainability, Economic Sustainability, and Social Sustainability. Lean Construction Management is a management approach that uses the principles of lean to promote efficiency and sustainability. The study aims to understand the current state of the construction industry of Tuguegarao City and highlight the potential for the adaptation of Lean Construction Management for the improvement of efficiency and sustainability of the industry by establishing the critical success factors that are crucial for the potential adaptation of Lean Construction Management as well as the factors that hinder its adaptation. The respondents of the study are the construction workers and professionals of the construction companies with a PCAB License Category AAA, AA, and A. The researchers used questionnaires to gather the data required for the study. The study found out that the major challenges faced by Tuguegarao's construction industry are adverse weather conditions, economic conditions, and site conditions. The study also highlights the significant lack of knowledge of the respondents about the principles and methodologies of Lean Construction Management. Most importantly, the study emphasized how the identity of the construction industry of being slow in adaptation of new methodologies and advancements is the main hindrance on the adaptation of Lean Construction Management in the city. However, the positive results of the critical success factors suggest that there is a big potential for a positive impact of the adaptation of Lean Construction Management into the construction industry of Tuguegarao City. These findings shed light to the earnestness of the stakeholders of the construction industry in the city for the continuous development and progress of the city of Tuguegarao.
